VLC Avtivex PlugIn :Remove PlayListsItem failed

I m using VLC Avtivex Plugin v2 in a MFC app,with VS2008.
I want to ask is there anything I should do before I remove an item from a playlist or clear the playlists,while it is playing an video already?
Cause everytime I remove an item from the playlist,it turn out to be a"memory leak in 0x001af6bc _com_error".
