VLC Streaming & Flash

Currently right now I can stream my webcam over localhost and I can read it via vlc player. The question I have is: Does anyone know of a way that i can read the stream using flash. I want several people to be able to access my stream without making them each download the player? I open to other ideas. Im just looking for any kind of help. Thank you.

Maybe you can convert it to Flash Video (flv) by using ffmpeg and then stream it with a flash applet.
Another option could be the Flash Media Server
