take snapshots or record playing video via vlc web plugins

Postby rowa » 27 Aug 2013 10:06

I've tried to integrate the vlc player with my web app, though the progress is really difficult for me;
I followed this instructions step by step: https://wiki.videolan.org/Documentation:WebPlugin,
but this document doesn't supply a snapshot or a video recording API, and it seems that it is not compatible with the IE/FF/Chrome on win7 x64;

I found a VLC web plugin warpped by FireBreath here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/fbvlc/;
it works well both on win7 x86 and win7 x64, but the same problem is: it does not contains snapshot and video recording APIs;

So how could I do snapshots or video record operation while the video is playing via the vlc web plugins?
thanks very much! :)

Please add new issue to the https://code.google.com/p/fbvlc/issues/list - I'll try to investigate that problem some time later.
