use VLC to capture rtps stream from IZON IP camera

I need some help please.
It is possible to capture the rtps:// live stream from a IZON 2.0 ip camera ( http://steminnovation.com/izon )
using network capture in VLC (OSX version 2.0.5 Twoflower (Intel 64bit) ) ?

I have seen some information on how to capture streams from Axis cameras ( http://www.jpsaman.org/node/23 )
I am not sure how this would relate to IZON cameras ( made by Vtech I think).
