Media Information from Radio Streams

Postby dendrite » 06 Oct 2012 17:10

Hey all, I am currently using VLC to play an internet radio stream.

VLC informs me in my Windows Notification area every time the artist and track changes and also shows me inside the player.

Does VLC store this information anywhere on the computer? Basically I want to capture this information in the simplest and most native way possible and then process it later perhaps as XML or something.

I am using Windows.

Thanks in advance

MediaDescription Object using the mozilla/Acivex plug-in API works for this.
