Is it possible, either through the command line or web interface, to display arbitrary marquee text at anytime during playback?
I'm initially starting vlc via the command line, and using the web interface to both monitor and control it.
Manual Marquee?

So I guess it's not? It looks like i can do it with libvlc, but not the http interface?
