Firefox IE9 Fullscreen working?

just wondering if anyone has the browser activex plugin working full screen in either of the above browsers?

I have a 600 * 480, window working but not full screen in firefox and in IE9 just a grey window. I have spent a few days looking through the forum and trying things all to no avail.

Any pointers or suggestions in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.

first of all you need try latest nightly build (from http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win32/), since mozilla/activex plugins in 1.1.11 is too buggy...

I have installed the latest version from the latest version but this hasn't installed the firefox plugin. There doesn't appear to be a firefox plugin where the help section says it should be??

any ideas?

did you check mozilla plugin in installer options?

Yes reinstalled it again to double check. I don't have a mozilla folder as described in the wiki document. Am I doing something very silly?

Copy the two files in VLC_Installation_folder\mozilla (usually C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\mozilla) to your mozilla plugins directory (Usually C:\Program Files\Mozilla\plugins or C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins).

I can't see the mozilla folder inside Videolan on my c:

I have a funny feeling I missing something really basic, but I can't see what.

it's outdated documentation, you no need copy anything anyware. Installer will do all work for you. You just need select mozilla and ActiveX in installer options.

I will reinstall tonight double checking the mozilla and activex boxes. should i check any security settings in the browser before installing?

My little test app played a film and changed to fullscreen and back again no problem!!!!!!

I noticed that a SDK folder with a full example webpage but I couldn't get it to play a file, does documentation exist for this example page.
