video.takesnapshot does not save picture

Hi All,
I am using VLC plugin with IE 8. All works well except the vlc.video.takesnapshot(); Javascript API does not save the picture at all. I pop up an overlay message showing it save into User\Local Setting\Temp\<random number>.bmp but there is no BMP to be found under that temp directory.

What did I do wrong?
