There's a "Record" button in "advanced control" tool bar. You can enable it under "view" menu item.

Hi jack.ting,

I am getting the following error that I was getting when I was using 0.8.6i, I have upgraded to 1.1.7 and I am still getting the same error.

What settings do I have to change to correct the below problem.

Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'http://root:dreambox@192.168.1.9/video.m3u'. Check the log for details.

Thanks,

Candid

Can anyone also tell me if this script would still apply or what new script I should be using?

"C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" --sout-all http://root:dreambox@192.168.1.9/video.m3u :sout=#duplicate{dst=display,dst=std{access=file,mux=ts,dst="F:\Myrecords\vlc.mpeg"}}

Thanks,

Candid

Hey Candid:

Can you view the video ?
You should make sure you can receive/view the video first.

Hi Jack.ting,

Yes I can view the video when I login to my dreambox and select the VLC from the dreambox but I cannot access it using the script above from my computer.

Sorry not to get back to you before but I was trying to login to the site for the past week and I am getting this message using IE8, I only tried firefox today and was abled to access my account.

I would like a Mod to tell me why I am getting this message using IE8 and not firefox?
