I'm trying to develop a Video player in VB.net using Visual Studio 2008, based on VLC ActiveX plugin "version 2". I code on a Windows Vista PC, and everything works fine.
But when I generate the setup file and install my player on a Windows XP pc, the video is not working (nothing happens when I click "play", not even an error message!). BTW I get audio volume control so I assume that my control is properly detected.
I previously installed the last version of VLC on the target PC, and integrated AXVLC.dll in my setup package.
Is there anything I shall check, or I got wrong?
