Postby edwart » 15 Jul 2009 13:36

hi,

do anybody know if there is a comparable object/methode for the "message" or "log" object in VLC 1.0.0?

i need it to check if the internet connection is good eneough or if there is a high packet loss.

Thank you for your help

This JS API node have been removed for security reasons, there is no replacement. I think it have not yet been deleted in the ActiveX for your information.

- If you just test for your own (but I doubt), it is much easier to use the desktop VLC interface and its "messages" window (ctrl+m).
- If you are using Linux, you can run Firefox from a terminal to get some debugs printed.
- If you are using Windows, you can try to run firefox with the "-console" parameter to get those debugs (untested).
