no autohide for fullscreen controller?

hi and a happy new year!

i'm using VLC 1.1.5 and i noticed that none of the skins i downloaded will autohide the fullscreen controller. is that an bug, or missing feature, or..? only using the native style would hide the fullscreen controller. it's a bit annoying all the time watching a movie with an fullscreen controller on the screen.

how can i change this? maybe somehow using the vlc skin editor?

thanks in advance!

regards

This will be implemented in the next major release.
If you wish to give it a try, we can install a nightly build
(for instance, http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win ... 0105-0002/ for Windows users)

I've been a huge VLC fan for years but I came here googling why suddenly tonight auto hide controller on fullscreen doesn't work. trying different reboots and options doesn't work.

I had no idea what to do when I went to the link here and downloaded a rar from the parent directory. AIl I got was some no-install VLC standalone player with a black band at the top that wouldn't play my files when I hit the exe. I'm a lamen here, so any help is appreciated as this is driving me batty.
