How can I make a text field area draggable?

Hello,

At the top of my skin I have a text field that shows the name of the file being played. I would like to make the entire top area draggable. What I mean is, you can click and drag the entire media player UI. The image behind the text field is currently draggable but the text always seem to take precedence when you roll over that area. I tried overlaing a transparent image above the field and some other hacks like that but nothing takes priority or focus away from the textfields. Is there a solution for this. Any help is appreciated.
