Is there a way when using a skin with the FF button or RW button then press the play button and have it go to normal speed. The play only hotkey works. Can this be intergrated into a button on a custom skin? Can a hotkey be defined in the skins and directed by a button?

At the moment no, only when a developer implements the necessary action commands into the skins system.
