vlc doesnt work with skins

Hi,
Iam having problems using skins with vlc. Without skinable Interface activated the players works perfectly. As soon as I enable it the first video only show a black window with sound and the second video loaded crashes vlc. Doesnt work with 5-6 skins I have downloaded, also the default skin.
- deleted cache
- tested 0.92, 0.94, 0.98a
Anyone an idea?
