Using Vista and VLC 9.2 and have downloaded the Dalin skin and placed in my skins folder. When I start VLC the Dalin skin appears but in a separate window I get the following error message...

File reading failed:
VLC could not open the file "C:\Users\***\AppData\Local\Temp\vlt2\Dalin_Media_Player\window_video.png".

Kind of new at this----so any help as to the problem would be appreciated.

so how do u install it now with all those files in there??

Just replace the old Dalin_Media_Player.vlt with the new one.

ok that doesnt make sense cuz when i click that link a zip file comes up with like a ton of files in it.

Well VLT files are zipped skins so...
Just don't extract the zip but put it in the skins folder as it is, with vlt as the file extension.

ok that didnt work i copied the zip file over n renamed the extenstion n tried to put it as a skin and it gave me that error message
