please add buttons
1) brightness/contrast
2) turn on/off subtitles
3) choose sound channel

and please make it more resizeable.

You need to read the entire WMP11 thread, and keep all questions and comments in that thread.

However, to answer your questions:

1. The VideoLAN skinning DTD does not provide for brightness/contrast controls.
2. The VideoLAN skinning DTD does not provide for subtitle control.
3. The VideoLAN skinning DTD does not provide for audio channel selection.

We as skinners can only provide functionality that the DTD provides. Unfortunately, it allows for a very small subset of functions.

As far as making the dialog more resizable, a new feature to be released in VLC 0.9.0 will make this possible.

However, to answer your questions:
1. The VideoLAN skinning DTD does not provide for brightness/contrast controls.

What I think the original poster wanted is these controls built right into the WMP11 skin.
