layer order with multiple skin windows

Postby tvtalkshowshigh » 14 May 2006 11:01

is it possible to set the layer order of different windows in a skin? so that when they overlap one will always be behind another regardless of which window was clicked on last.

something like LayerPriority="0" as an attribute of the <Window> tag would be nice. Does this exist already?

thanks in advance,

mark.

No, there is no such thing. Why do you need that?

i don't need it as such... i'm just being a little lazy.

i've been working for a while (on and off ) on a touch screen system that uses vlc with skins2 as the interface. it needs to be full screen but i also need seperate windows within that which i can change the visibility of. I was try to just have a big black window in the background, but if i can't be sure that this will always stay at the back i'll just make sure each of the interfaces "zones" meet at the edges and don't leave any gaps. it's not a problem, i just thought i'd ask.

thanks for the quick response as always ipkiss,

mark.
