Standard Skin unpacked

Hi there,

is there any way to download the standard skin of VLC, to start with a good example how to make skins?
All the skins in the download are missing core features I like to implement (e.g. display thumbnails in the playlist), so I'd like to start with the standard skin with all features and then change design and layout.

This possible?
Thanks,
cheers,
Luise

I'm not sure there is a 'source' file of the default skin, maybe in the source code ? But I think it was just made with the skin editor.
Maybe this can help with some default values, but it looks like it's not really up to date:

Hi Lotesdelere,
thanks, yes, I read all these, but there's not really one mentioning the media library and different view options. I guess it's only possible in the native view and doesn't work for skins unfortunately.

Bummer, I'd really wanted to use VLC as a miniplayer for stored musicvideos, but it's way too complicated to even save correct xml-data (for whatever reason, streaming-urls are saved as temporary googlevideo links with expiring dates xD ), so the whole shebang isn't really working as intended anyway.

Thanks,
cheers,
Luise
