Bug: Small skin screen with controls covers movie when starting in fullscreen

Problem:
Sometimes when using a skin and VLC is set to fullscreen (simple preferences > video > fullscreen), the small screen will cover my fullscreen movie. I can click on the fullscreen video to refocus on it, hiding the controls window.

Condition:
This occurs when I have fullscreen enabled at launch. It's when I use any skin, so I don't have the issue with normal VLC. This is on the latest version of VLC currently available. This only happens for some videos for some reason. I have tried 3 different skins: MinimalX, MetroX, and Skyfire, and they all result in the same problem.
