VLC loosing focus in skinned mode
Posted: 26 Mar 2019 11:16
I play a video in VLC in skinned mode.
I toggle to the Desktop with WIN+D.
I select VLC with Alt+Tab again.
-> VLC is on top, video is playing, but VLC doesn't get focus (Window Spy shows no active Window) -> hotkeys don't work.
-> There's no way to quit VLC with Ctrl+Q, I have to take the mouse and click on the VLC-Window to make it active again.
Sometimes VLC looses focus right after starting a video by double clicking a videofile in Explorer, but not always.
Sometimes this happens too after cycling through other Windows with Alt+Tab,
but the lost focus with WIN+D and back to VLC with Alt+Tab is 100% reproducible.
Does anybody else have the same issue?
Thanks,
T.
Edit: I'm using VLC 3.0.4 on Windows 10 1809. I tried this with different skins, no difference.
