I think this is the right forum here to post this question ... if not, please direct me to which one ...
I have been using the Native interface ever since I first found VLC a few years ago. And because of the customizations, for regular use, the Native interface is more than fine, it's great. But for some time I've been wanting a solution to when I'm watching a video while actually on the computer. I didn't like the solution of C+H and resizing, etc., I wanted an easier solution and thought that finding a suitable "mini" skin would be way I'd prefer to go. However, ran into a problem. When I changed to skins mode in the preferences over the Native interface mode, the default skin is not the Native interface. I'd like to continue to use the main Native interface 98% of the time but when I'm at the computer, would like a mini interface that is on top of all windows to be an option. But it seems that only way to do this at present since the Native interface is not the default skin is either to:
- keep having to manually switch to skins mode before I can access a separate skin, or
- find a way to have a skin that mimics the Native interface exactly (if that's even possible ... ??!!??)
Perhaps I'm not aware of something and I'm just on the wrong path ... whatever the case may be ... is there any solution to this?
Thanks!
