Saveing Skins

How do i make my skin Load after i close VLC it always starts up not loading it. And if i Go to Preferences>Interface>General and click the Skinnable Interface checkbox It will load the skin but Crash right after and i have to Reinstall VLC is there any other way...

I HAVE THE SAME PROB...

TAB OFF...

and i tryed to check the box and it crashed...dam...

anybody pleace....I hate the defoult skin and love the tre... somthing skin

you dount have to reinstall...

start/programs/videolan/reset vlc default and quit

I had the same problem. Thank you for the easy reset fix, but is there any way to do what the origional post is asking without going into a crashing loop?

Some of the skins on the downloads page require the beta version of VLC. Are you using that version?

BTW, a correct bug report should include at least the version of VLC you use, the skin causing problems, and your OS.

might i add a comment... perhaps have a "works with vlc 0.82 and above"

on the skins page... so that people will know what version of skin they have?
