How to set playlist as the default view for the videos?

I set playlist view while I play music. My music contains music videos as well, I like the small video frame in the left bottom corner. but a music video after a music only track switches to full window video view. So I thought there is a default view for videos to set it to playlist view which i didn't find in preferences. help!
