Need Skin with Larger Elapsed and Total Time

Hey Folks
I view VLC Media Player on my TV with no skin and have trouble seeeing the elapsed and total times. I've downloaded the Skin Editor but, well, I'm one of those technically challenged personages in the world (who nonetheless desire perfection in my computer experience).
Can anybody recommend a skin with a larger elapsed and total time font?
Alternatively, is there an easy way to increase the font size, in the normal interface, in Tools without using a skin that I just don't know about? Just a suggestion, but I think the VLC developers might think about creating such an adjustment. If it exists, the joke's on me.
