Making a new skin...

...and need help to make a logo / background visible in the normal size player while there's no video loaded. :)

Atm the video display window blocks the background, and when I changed visibility to False on the video window well... hmm... it works the way I want it to sometimes, goes weird when you resize it though and either the bg or the display window ends up ontop... pretty random O_o

Image <- current version in minimized state btw :D

Not possible atm, as the visible attribute does not work properly on video elements iirc. And the proper setting for the attribute would not be simply "false" but "not vlc.hasVideo".

hi,
i have problem on my skin there is lots of black dots are their on the skin .
can any one help me to find solution for it.
Well if you did what I did and used an exisiting skin to learn how the skins work, you're likely to get a bunch of button references and so which your skin might not use (yet?). I'm guessing it's DVD control buttons. Maybe you've resized the original bitmap and it's smaller than the original so the program can't create some buttons, which then turns out black? *shrug*

Probably easier to help ya if you provide a screenshot of the problem. <Print Screen> is your friend :-)
