How can I see Cover Art in the player ???

I would like to know how is it posssible to see the Cover Art of the mp3 I listen to.
In my question, I talk about mp3 who have already the cover in their tag....

At this time, I can see it on the playlist like here :



But not like this :

I still don't get it... Just use the full display mode and restart the player.

The simple way will be to tell me where I can find this "full display mode".....

Pour info, j'ai passé mon lecteur en "anglais" afin de trouver ce fameux "full display mode"...sans succès...

I don't know if others have that problem too but in 0.9.4-win32 the album art does not show up on the initial playback of the file, only after I have clicked stop and then play again the art appeared. Also the album art does not resize when changing the window size, just parts of it are hidden. I don't really like that behavior.

If pulls the cover art just fine on my end, however the annoyance of not scaling it to the window size remains. Should I file this as a feat. req. or is it on the way?

Can CloudStalker make a suggestion? Of course he can. In the case where album art is not embedded into the tag, would it be possible to make VLC search for the album art in the folder? Much like foobar2k, it would search for "cover.jpg", "folder.jpg", "front.jpg" (applies to PNG and other image formats).

It can already do this (well - works with VLC 1.0.0-rc3 on *nix anyway), just is limited to "Folder.jpg", "AlbumArtSmall.jpg" and ".folder.png". It is case sensitive, and hence "folder.jpg" will not work (the naming scheme I use).

The for and switch statements could just be expanded to handle more more naming schemes (perhaps *.png too? Not sure if the Qt4 supports that ATM), or perhaps could be customisable in the Preferences - e.g. a comma/semi-colon separated list.

What have I done wrong

My problem is simply this.

When I play .mp3 files with embedded .jpeg cover art in the videolan player, the cover art does not show in its entirety, just part of it. I have tried it with all sizes and resolutions of the same image, but with no success. I have even completely removed and reloaded the player on my system but nothing I've tried will show a complete cover on this player.

The cover art works well on all the other players I have tried, also I have tried converting the art to .png format but nothing works.

Olease, has anyone had the same problem, and/or found a fix for this problem?

You can check out "mp3tagger pro",this one saves the art not only to the album but to each mp3,so that you can still see the album art when transferring back to another pc...
