skins2

Postby jmadero » 17 Jan 2009 03:21

Hi All,

I am having inconsistencies (well I suppose consistent but two different ways). I use skins, when I open the player the skin opens perfectly and the video plays from within the skins like it's supposed to:

but when I just double click a file (or right click a folder and do "open with vlc) the video player is separate from the controls.

Anyone know if this is just a bug or if there is a way for me to fix this? I've tried several skins and all have the same behavior. Thanks all

P.S. Side question, how do I access the preferences from skins2. Like with the default player how there is "Tools->Preferences" how do I get to that dialog from within a skin....never could figure that out. Thanks again

That's a bug, video integration into skins2 is not so perfect.

To access the preferences some skins have buttons for that.

Can you try the same with 1.0.0-devel from NB ?

I'm having a hard time finding the development package. I'm using Ubuntu so a .deb would be easiest but I can install from source if I could only find it.....
