I've been on vacations the last month so the is no update yet :/

BUT now I am back and this week i'll do the playlist. Still don't know what to do with the dropdowns but I hope i'll find some kind of solution.

I actually found some motivation to continue my work on the valencia skin ^^
I had a very busy month so please excuse the lack of updates :'(

I started implementing the playlist and i have the basic thing up and running but there are still some little quirk.
The playlist scroller isn't scolling properly with the window. The upper scrollpoint is moving downwards and the scrollbar background disappears at a certain window height :/
No Idea so far how I clould fix that

I really like this skin

Just one suggestion though. Could you put some random and shuffle playback options on the playlist window? Right now I'm having to set playback to shuffle and repeat before I switch to your skin.

Any idea when you'll have the file/view/settings/equalizer buttons working? I'd like to start using this skin.

i hope i can do some work this weekend but university classes turned out to be pretty hefty in case of decreasing my sparetime :'(

This is an amazing skin. I hope you have time to finish it, or someone can help you out.

You need a new font. Try the Bitstream Vera font, which is a free, "open source" font. It's not perfect, but it avoids legal issues with using a "freeware" or "commercial" font, and the font itself is a decent neutral font.

I came across your wip vlc skin page on Deviant Art yet somehow I missed this thread here. In fact I was just about to make a post about it.

gimmix is there any possibility you could release a dark grey/black variation of the skin?


This is a nice scalable skin which would suit well as a default skin for future VLC releases.
