Suse Linux x86_64 10.2

Code: Select all

FFmpeg version SVN-r9790, Copyright (c) 2000-2007 Fabrice Bellard, et al. configuration: --shlibdir=/usr/lib64 --prefix=/usr --mandir=/usr/share/man --libdir=/usr/lib64 --enable-shared --enable-libmp3lame --enable-libogg --enable-libvorbis --enable-libtheora --enable-libfaad --enable-libfaac --enable-libxvid --enable-liba52 --enable-swscaler --enable-pp --enable-gpl --enable-vhook --enable-x11grab --enable-libgsm --enable-libx264 --enable-libamr-nb --enable-libamr-wb libavutil version: 49.4.1 libavcodec version: 51.40.4 libavformat version: 51.12.1 built on Jul 24 2007 23:02:26, gcc: 4.1.2 20061115 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux) ffmpeg SVN-r9790 libavutil 3212289 libavcodec 3352580 libavformat 3345409

the rpm has not been built like it should, or you have a dependancy problem
vlc: symbol lookup error: vlc: undefined symbol: img_convert

which vlc version ?

i was not given any dependency fail message when installing the rpm
and my version is:
VLC media player 0.8.6c Janus

lets put compiling the last option(if i can't solve the problem the simple way)
do you think if i build it myself that would solve the problem?
i tried once ,but after i typed ./configure after about a minute i was faced with this message
configure: error: Missing header file ffmpeg/avcodec.h.
what should i do?
