skin help

Hi
guys i am new here. i have a problem hope you guys will help out of it.
I downloaded WMP11 SKIN. and as i read in FAQ that i moved WMP11.vlt file to my C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\skins

But i can,t hold my skin. i mean after i start my vlc and then change skin and then when i close player and open it again its going back to that old skin. how can i hold it??

i have latest version VLS. and windows Xp PRO

You can change it in the preferences...

You can change it in the preferences...
ya i know and i did it. but after i close and run vlc going back to old styl

You have to clear your preferences...

start > videolan > quick settings > reset....

If you have the latest version of VLC (v0.8.6a) then you can change this in the start menu: Start > All programs > VideoLAN > Quick settings > Interface > Set main interface to skinnable. Once you’re in skins mode, right-click the player and select a skin.

For some reason it seems that changing skins in the preferences doesn’t always stick, so hopefully this will fix it.
