Can VLC play QCP files?

I have a few recordings that I took with my cell phone's voice recorder that saved in a QCP format. My VLC player will not play these. If I try to play it, VLC tries to for a fraction of a second then goes into it's "rest" mode. Seems that the default to open these is the "Real Player" program, but even that won't open the file.

Use any filesharing site, like rapidshare. Or you can also upload directly to http://streams.videolan.org/upload/

Personally recommend a totally free QCP player - Faasoft Audio Converter which works on both Mac and Windows. As the name suggests, this program is designed to convert audio files like MP3, WAV, QCP, AAC, AC3, etc. But it also has the feature to play audio files freely. You can also use it to convert audio files like QCP to MP3, WAV, etc.
