Hello, I am new here. I have used VLC Player for 5 years without any problems until now. I just bought a new laptop Samsung RC512 with 2nd generation Core i3 processor. I downloaded the new VLC Player 2.0.1 which I didn't know about. When i used VLC 2.0.1, I tried to do a screenshot like I always have when watching a video but somehow, I get this error message while the video is still playing.
"Streaming / Transcoding failed:
VLC could not open the encoder."
On my old laptop, I have VLC 2.0 and its great, I have no problems. I did a screenshot and it worked fine on it. So, I am afraid to upgrade the VLC player to 2.0.1 because of the problems that many people are experiencing. Is this a bug problem? Do any of you have this kind of problem? I hope this problem can be fixed soon. VLC Player is the best.
