Command line switch to select DVD audio track

Postby kevandju » 20 Mar 2012 20:26

I use VLC via command line to play DVD's and it works great, my problem is that I think the DVD's by default are playing v5.1 sound and I'm only listening to it via my PC speakers so audio gets high and low. Wondering if there is a way to specify I only want the 2 channel audio track using a command line switch. Thanks for any help/ideas. I noticed a bunch of audio command line switches, but none specifically for this I think, but could be reading them wrong.

Only DirectX audio output has direct override for that.

Code: Select all

--directx-audio-speaker=Stereo
