Increase Buffer Size - VLC v2 for Windows

Postby djarmani » 19 Mar 2012 00:19

Howdy Folks,

Would someone please be able to point me towards where I can find the settings to increase the buffer size in VLC v2 for Windows? My internet connection is crap and I need to increase the buffer for all the streams like HTTP, FTP etc.

I used to be able to adjust it in VLC v1 but can't seem to find the settings in v2, so I wonder if perhaps they have been moved ;)

I apologize if this issue has already been covered in the forums somewhere, and if it has, please point me to the right place for the answer.

Thanks :)

Tools -> Preferences (set Show Settings to All) and Input / Codecs, then adjust Network caching (ms)
