I have tried and tried to create playlists in VLC and have had absolutely no success. I am desperate for someone to explain how to do it with simple, step-by-step instructions. My OS is Windows Vista. Please will someone help.

1 Open playlist, view->playlist or Ctrl+L
2. Drag and drop files to playlist (or use other means)
3. Use Media -> Save playlist to save the playlist.
