[VLC 2.0.0] bug report

hi,

I just installed VLC 2 and I notice these two problems/bugs:
1. If I open VLC double - clicking on a video file VLC opens and starts to play the video but the some elements of the video contex menu are missing. If I stop the video and play it again the menu appear. Missing menus are Audio, Video, Subtitles... and others regarding the video file and not the VLC interface
2. Audio sounds saturated. If I active the equalizer with default level preamp the audio level goes down and plays good

My system is a Windows XP SP3 with 4GB RAM. The same files play without these problems in VLC v1.1.10

Are they known issues?

thanks

2. Do you use volume levels over 100?

no
Actually it seems to me that VLC 2 with equalizer switched off uses them

I have the same experience. In VLC1.x, I could boost the sound to 400% without any saturation. Now if I go above 100% the sound becomes hypersaturated.

With the version 2.0 I see higher cpu consuming, much more than v1 (xp)
for example sometime to 90% of cpu with online video (sopcast), and the video is slowed.
with normal avi or mkv between 30% and 70%.

Could be fixed in the next version?

Thank you!

If your high CPU usage is related to resampler issue, then it should be fixed in 2.0.1
