Hi,

as others, I am also experiencing the audio stuttering problem on a really annoying level. VLC is unusable to me.

But I have started a new thread, because its a bit different.
First, contrary to others, the audio stutters several times a second for me on all kinds of media.
Second, adjusting the volume, as others suggest, does not have an effect on this.

The VLC log is claiming about:

Have you tried to reset VLC settings by removing %appdata%\vlc folder?

Does it help if you rename libsamplerate.dll to libsamplerate.dll2 ?

No, unfortunately deleting the user data has no effect.
And if you mean "libsamplerate_plugin.dll" by "libsamplerate.dll", this does not work either.

Its just the same extreme stuttering all the time. :-/

I have the same problem, I tried every solutions you mentioned but non worked. Now I'm using Media Player Classic without any audio problem, but I would like to use VLC again

2.0.1 does not work either

I was forced to downgrade to vlc 1.1.13

Drivers are up to date and I have tried nearly every option related to audio.
