is the volume in vlc 2 max 200 ?

Hi

update vlc to v2 , but i can not increase the volume to 400 for example , 200 is the max
is there a way to pump up the volume like 1.1.11?

Yes.

Tools -> Preferences (Show settings: All) Interface > Main interfaces > Qt and Allow the volume to be set to 400%

Dear Sirs,
Im using the latest nigthlie (as of 12th March, 2014) and I followed all the shown steps to increase the volume up to 300% (the maximum allowed in this build).

Nonetheless the real volume is 130% as maximum.

Why?

Some bug? Some error of mine?

Im on a Windows 8.1 Professional x86 (not yet Update 1, nor unofficial, even if I already got the patches to do so).

If you could be of some help to me I will appreciate.

The new 200% is louder than the old 400%
That doesn’t really matter because there is always the Audio Effects dialog. What’s a real problem is that the gradations aren’t the same, it goes from too quiet to suddenly too loud; there’s no fine-grained control/transition.
