Greetings,

I have been trying without success to get VLC 1.1.11 to open in the same position in which I watched the video before it as opposed to opening it up in the size of the window the video is formatted in. I have two pictures to better describe what I'm looking to do.



Notice that the player is in the bottom left hand corner. I want it to open In that position every time I watch something. I have tried everything in the preferences as well as doing the Windows "ctrl+left mouse click" when I close it. And every time, without fail it will open (or start playing if I click stop) like this:



As I mentioned I'm using version 1.1.11, and I'm running on Windows 7 Premium 64-bit. Any help would be great...

You can force the position and size from Tools -> Preferences (Show settings: All) Video, the options are X and Y etc. But those might also require that you separate controls from video window
