:Sout-all for Satellite transponder - CLIENT settings

Hi all,

I have been trying to do something very simple (or it SEEMED simple!) at the time.

I have satelite connected ok, streaming with :sout-all option works. I do not care about CPU overload and I did read that Sout-all is not recommended ONLY due to those constraints.

Problem/Question is :
When I set up streamingwith sout-all, ALL streams open on windows VLC client. How (what option?) must be entered in either advanced properties or bat file for me to be able to open only one channel on Client?

I wouldlike to have the option to open 4 clients and have 4 different program streams coming from VLC Streamer.

I also looked in DVBlast (mening switching the OS alltogether) yet i do not understand how client connects at all to satellite streams so that option is for another thread (howwever if someone knows a defult socket addresses for DVBLast's command after opening the freq or HOW TO OPEN A PORT THERE I will be more than happy to hear it!)

I would preffer simple Tfull transponder stream from VLC though so this is why I'm posting here.

So... in VLC Client you type: http://IPAddress:port and then what and where is my question :D

P.S.
I have tried to open by adding program=31200 (this is Eurosport DE on Astra 19E) but then it just sits there with blank screen.

Thanks for any help/guidance !

VLC will by default open all video and image tracks that file/stream contains. I don't know if there is any easy solution for this (well other than streaming only one channel per port)

I have more or less the same problem. Can you explain how to make vlc stream every channel on an own port? That would be very nice :)

When you say "not an easy solution" than I presume the tracks are generated dynamically and same stream never gets the same ID on the client side hence making it virtually impossible to enumerate on permanent basis. But this is just a guess.

As for streaming each program to it's own separate stream, I have tried this as weell with very little success (there are examples here on the forum and I believe I have tried every single one).

I would be interested in getting more info on seprating the streams on 1.1.11 Luggage or atleast a confirmation that it is the same as previous versions.

I am not worried about OS, it can be either Win or *ux

Thanks!

P.S.
Is IRC still active? noone seems to visit there anymore
P.P.S.
When I do "Full Transport Stream" from ProgDVB, VLC Correctly displays a LIST of programs to be chosen from "Program" drop-down menu AND I can target one program within a stream by adding "program=31200" in advanced gui as well as from bat file. I's willing to help in any way to determine the real difference between the two as it seems VLC is compatible with foreign-code streams and not with itself. I have resources to share with very litte coding knowledge but I can try.
