Problem with Goto Meeting webinars

I'm trying to watch a recorded Goto Meeting webinar (it's on Joomla.org) and when I click the View Recorded Webinar button, a box pops up asking if I want to open the .ask file in VLC Player. It does this on two machines (XP and 7) in both IE and FF, and I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the Goto codec. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

VLC doesn't support any external codecs. Do you have some link we could check out?

Page doesn't work in my work computer, "Unsupported OS", but in source code I only see embedded Shockwave Flash element.
And did you mean "if I want to open the .asf file in VLC Player" ?
VLC doesn't have GoToMeeting codec support, so VLC cannot play those files. But Windows Media Player should open them.

Unable to play Goto Meetings saved in WMA format. Is there away to add a plug-in? It will play the sound, but no Video.

VLC 2.2.0 can play GoToMeeting 4 (G2M4) files.
