Hello
I downloaded TDM_MINGW and msys and successfully built vlc-1.1.0_rc3 version and created axvlc.dll and others. Now there is a file called test.html under vlc/projects/activex folder. When I run this html, it should successfully load any video file I want to play to the browser. But looks like it is not able to load the activex dll saying 'No plugin available for this content'. I tried chrome as well as IE to play a video file. I built vlc based on the intruction given under, http://wiki.videolan.org/Win32CompileMSYSNew. Does anyone encountered the same problem? Any solution for this? i tried with windows 7 and XP

Please use VLC 1.2.0 or newer. It has MUCH better ActiveX component and you can even build it from Visual Studio.
