VLC Defaults

I always put my aspect ration to 16:9 and a graphic equalizer audio filter when watching stuff in VLC. Is there anyway to make VLC load this stuff up by default so I don't have to set it up each time I start the player?

Tools -> Preferences (Show settings: All) and Video part should have the aspect ratio settings. Audio part should allow you to enabled the Eq.
