Launching VLC spins up secondary hard drive

When I launch VLC, I can hear one of my drive spin up. I can confirm that it happens every time I open VLC while the drive is powered down.

Using Process Monitor, the only thing that comes up is this:

vlc.exe

I would guess there is some assert data or similar in libqt4 which could be removed. I'll check this during weekend.

is in libqt4_plugin.dll
