Hello. As with previous version 1.1.10, and the current version 1.1.11, if I open a video file and close it in the first 5 seconds of viewing, then open another video, do the same, and you open the 3rd video VLC 1.1.11 refuses to start because the vlc.exe remains open, and takes about 2-3 minutes to auto shut down.

Does this happen if you play audio only files?

Never try this. Because I use Winamp for audio files.

If that doesn't happen with audio only files, it might a bug in display adapter drivers. In that case another VOUT might work better

Ok from what I saw there are valid for all other problems, I do not have such problems with playback, simply vlc.exe process itself remains open.

"if I open a video file and close it in the first 5 seconds of viewing, then open another video, do the same, and you open the 3rd video VLC 1.1.11 refuses to start because the vlc.exe remains open, and takes about 2-3 minutes to auto shut down".

I think the problems are directly the VLC, the other player I have no such problems. I recently reinstalled Windows 7 Professional SP1 32 bit, so I see no problem with Windows or drivers. I think the issue should be reviewed directly by VLC team and solved :!: :!: :!: .Thanks

There are SO many problems with buggy display adapter drivers that you are not gonna believe...
