So far, I don't plan to do a 1.1.12 release for Win32.
It doesn't bring much on the Windows side.
If you really need something from 1.1.12, use the nightly build, or use the nightly build plugins on 1.1.11. Or convince me
I don't "NEED" 1.1.12. Although the "News" page says:
VLC 1.1.12
2011-10-06
VideoLAN and the VLC development team present VLC 1.1.12, a bug and security fix release with improvements for audio output on Mac OS X and with PulseAudio.
This release was necessary due to a security issue in the HTTP and RTSP server components, though this does not affect standard usage of the player.
Binaries for Mac OS X and sources are available.
unfortunately when you reach the VLC home page using a Windows browser, the button on the home page clearly offers 1.1.12
FOR WINDOWS
and the download link tries to download vlc-1.1.12-win32.exe from Sourceforge. Since this file doesn't exist, sourceforge just sends the user back to the VLC home page with no explanation.
I can't argue with you not offering 1.1.12 for Windows. But you should IMHO not offer it in a download link if it's not available.
