How to remove the file name from VLC window

Hi,

I wonder if this text ( dvd://F ) can be removed from the interface..
Every time i play a dvd, change the chapter from dvd menu, this text shows on screen...it goes away in a few seconds but would like to remove it for good...if it`s possible.
I looked in the settings and i couldn`t find an option for this...
Can you help me?
Thank you

EDIT:
it does not happen only with the dvds...
it happens whenever i open any movie file from disk either..
I found an option in Interface->Preferences (Show Settings - All) -> Interface ->Main Interfaces-> Qt:
"Show playing item name in window title" - and i unchecked it
But i think it has nothing to do with my problem, because the file`s name i am playing is still there...
What should i do?

A following setting works for me:
Tools >> Preferences (Ctrl+P) >> Show settings - Simple >> Subtitles & OSD: On Screen Display - [] Show media title on video start
or
Tools >> Preferences (Ctrl+P) >> Show settings - All >> Video: [] Show media title on video

It is even in "simple preferences".

Google shows these as 2015 but they apparently are 2011 and are outdated. None of the options described exist in ver 2.2.1 (2015 July).
Anyone know how to remove file name now?

On my Mac install for version 2.2.1, go to the menu at the top of the screen for VLC->preferences, and select the fourth tab in the preferences pane named "Subtitles / OSD." In the top section named "On Screen Display" is a checkbox labeled "Enable OSD." This is enabled by default. By toggling off this on screen display option, the title goes away.

This just turns off the On Screen Display so that no info shows on the screen, including volume and time which I like having on the screen. But the info still exists.

Sometimes the title can be removed by highlighting it in the Main Window and selecting Cmd-I > General > Title and deleting the title information and saving it. Sometimes this info is hard coded and either can't be changed or requires some secret handshake which I don't know. Sometimes trying to change the info corrupts the file, so always work from a copy. Apparently this VLC trick never works on wmv files.
