Debian.
Thx,

So my question now would be how VLC w/debian would be capable of holding aprox 1000 VOD content and aprox 4 broadcast streams.

Will VLC be able to hold on with it or should I be looking for something else i.e Adobe Flash Media Enterprise Server 4

Please advise,
Thank you in advance,
DK

As I said, streaming video files for VOD with FMES, VLC or anything else, is probably useless. Use a http server.

Jean,

I don't want to be a pain but can you explain why i.e fmes would be useless. You're telling me to use http server but can you be more specific like what os and what to use to embed it to the website. FMES and VLC give you the option to integrate it to your website. HTTP server but using what?

Please advise,
