I have been using VLC media player for a while now and far prefer it to WMP - however my ability to click on a video and play it (the eggtimer comes up for a second and then goes but nothing happens) and the context play options don't appear - the only change i've (knowingly) made to my computer is to download adobe flash player 10.

I have removed and re-installed VLC but it's made no difference!

Opening VLC and selecting and opening the video from there works tho!

And I;ve jusr discovered that open autoplay on the whole drive works too....

Any ideas?

It's ok - started working again....

What it was is that I wanted to start videos in mute mode so disabled audio - but when i did the click and context options dissappeared - but when i re-enabled audio it still wouldn't work until I rebooted.....
